Rian helps a lucky listener put the finishing touches on her dream wedding day

Cecilia Sim is just like any other bride-to-be: she would like to make her special day as beautiful and memorable as possible. Unfortunately, she does not currently have the budget to get her bridesmaids looking spectacular for the wedding day. 

Hoping to find some help, Cecilia sent the following message to The Scenic Drive with Rian:

I am getting married on 12 May 2018... Yes, this  Saturday. The only problem is that I do not have any make-up artist or hairstylist or nail artist. Not for me or my four bridesmaids – and I really wanted to spoil them. 

Our budget ran out. You probably know how expensive weddings can be. All I am asking is please MAKE MY DAY and sponsor only my four girls to do their hair, make-up and nails. 

They really deserve it and I cannot afford it. My sister came all the way from Australia for the wedding and she is one of the bridesmaids that I want to spoil. Please help me with this.

Rian and the team reached out and made contact with Marie van Zyl of Gary Rom Hairdressing in Nelspruit. Upon hearing about Cecile's upcoming wedding, Marie stepped in to make sure that all the bridesmaid, as well as Cecilia herself, would be set for the big day. 

Marie gifted Cecilia make-up, hairstyling and manicures and pedicures for the entire wedding party. 

But, of course, a wedding is not only about the bride. To make sure that the honeymoon for Cecilia and her husband-to-be Geraan de Wet is covered, the generous people at Komati Gorge Lodge and Wildlife Resort have gifted the couple a week-long stay. 

During their stay among the majestic cliffs and rolling hills of this premiere Mpumalanga lodge, Cecilia and Geraan will have the honeymoon suite to themselves and enjoy meals, a picnic as well as fishing and horseriding experiences. 

Cecilia was in tears as she heard the news. She could not believe her luck!
