Rian shares some Scenic Drive magic with fans from Randfontein
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
The de Jagers came all the way from Randfontein for a chance to say hello to Rian van Heerden and have a quick chat with him.
This past June, Rian met a family from Randfontein who had one simple wish for Make my Monday: to see what a radio studio looks like.
Being that they were from his hometown, Rian was more than happy to oblige the de Jagers.
The theme of the discussion on the show was "acts of kindness", so when Rian van Heerden heard that there were a few Scenic Drive listeners waiting outside the studio for a chance to talk to him, it was easy for him to oblige.

Ockert de Jager and his family had the opportunity to meet and talk to Rian on-air. Rian showed the de Jager children a little bit about how to drive the desk and even gave them the chance to link to a song.
The children thoroughly enjoyed getting to see Rian in action as they are big fans of his. They will surely remember this act of kindness for a very long time.
