Freemasonry is one of the oldest organisations in society. Shrouded in secrecy, the goings on within the organisation are often only revealed in full to its members.

Those outside of the organisation regard its members - who are exclusively male - with suspicion. Often, members are accused of taking part in occult practices and designing plans to take over the world.

Others report that their interactions with freemasons have left them enriched. It is said that Freemasons, who claim that the upliftment of others and the improvement of self are their guiding principles, are kind people who only want to do good in the world. If you would like to hear more about the Freemasons and their principles, you can watch this informative video.

With a view to dispelling some of the myths around the Freemasons, Rian invited David Duncan, the Grand Master of the Freemasons in South Africa, to the Scenic Drive.
