TV and radio personality Rian van Heerden celebrate 10 years at Jacaranda FM.
In 2011, Van Heerden started a new radio journey at one of the biggest commercial radio stations in the country, Jacaranda FM.

From 19:30 to 22:00, Van Heerden entertained millions of listeners every night. After that, Van Heerden started hosting the Breakfast Show at the station.
In 2016, Van Heerden announced his resignation from the Breakfast Show on Jacaranda FM. After five years of hosting The Complimentary Breakfast, Van Heerden decided that it would be time for him to hang up his headphones and move on.
Listeners, fans, and colleagues alike were all shocked by the news.

In 2017, Rian van Heerden made his return to Jacaranda FM and became the new Afternoon Show host. This is how the Scenic Drive started.
