On 30 June 2022, it will be Rian van Heerden and Jacaranda FM's last #Straatbraai - and YOU are invited!
After a decade of intriguing conversations, indelible wit, and "take-me-with-a-pinch-of-salt candour", Jacaranda FM’s Scenic Drive host, Rian van Heerden, turns on his mic for the last time on 30 June 2022.
Rian van Heerden has captured the zeitgeist of South African culture in almost every way, shape, and form. From his ‘expect the unexpected’ Scenic Drive show on Jacaranda FM to his wildly successful Showmax show, 'Sex in Afrikaans,' Rian has entertained Mzansi and become a well-respected and beloved celebrity amongst media giants in South Africa.
"Radio is and will always remain one of our greatest mediums for communication – of course, I will miss it. To our listeners, Dankie! Thank you for tuning in, laughing, sharing, debating, agreeing, and disagreeing with me over the years," Van Heerden.
Van Heerden will end his journey at Jacaranda FM with a final #Straatbraai.
