"It's been a hectic few days" - Rian van Heerden's mother tests positive for COVID-19

Rian van Heerden's 84-year-old mother tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.
As of Sunday evening, the country recorded an increase of over 11,000 new coronavirus cases, taking the total number of infections to 445,433.
On Sunday evening, Rian van Heerden shared the news that his mother has tested positive for COVID-19 on Facebook.
"My mom tested positive for COVID-19 at age 84. In the last 24 hours, I have learned more about the disease than I thought I would," Van Heerden wrote on Facebook.
Van Heerden continued: "Luckily my mom's oxygen levels are very good and I'm convinced we'll get through this."

On Monday, Van Heerden shared the story with the team and listeners.
"It's been a hectic few days. On Wednesday, I spoke to my mother and she said she has a cold."
"On Friday, my mother did the test. The result came back and she was positive."
"I thought I knew everything about this virus - but I actually know nothing. I don't know what to do."
"When COVID-19 knows on your door - everything changes."
