Rogue piece of luggage at Chinese train station causes woman's head injury
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
A traveller at China's Shenzhen North Station lost control of her luggage and inadvertently caused a woman to fall and hurt her head.
Among the many things that can go wrong during a regular commute at a train station, sustaining serious luggage-related injuries is perhaps very low on the list.
At Shenzhen North Station in China, one woman had the unexpected displeasure of being knocked off her feet by a rogue suitcase.
A fellow traveller lost control of her suitcase and watched helplessly as it hurtled down a nearby escalator. CCTV footage shows the destruction that the bag left in its wake.
The unsuspecting woman has the wind knocked out of her and reportedly sustained a minor head injury that required stitches.
While the owner of the suitcase did contribute to the woman's medical expenses, she insists the train station should also take some of the responsibility for the incident.
But how do you compensate a person for something like this - with a suitcase that has less slippery wheels?
