Comedian Carl Weber went through a rough lockdown and needed some laughter.
Comedian Carl Weber had a very rough lockdown - and needed some cheering up.

In June 2020, Weber and his wife were in mourning after her parents succumbed to coronavirus. During that time, his wife Valene, 40, also tested positive. The funnyman started making vlogs about their COVID-19 experience, begging people to take the pandemic seriously.
Valene’s parents passed away within days of each other, leaving her devastated.

Weber told Rian van Heerden that there is no more work and money. "I lived on my savings."
"To do a live performance is very difficult - we feed on the audience."
The Scenic Drive team decided to flip it around and tell him jokes, in order to make him laugh.
This way we tip our hats to comedians for keeping us laughing in this bizarre time. It's a tough job, but laughter is still the best medicine.
