The talented South African singer speaks to Rian about the incredible year she's had.
South Africans have known and loved Shekhinah Donnell since she made her debut on Idols in 2012. Her talent was undeniable during the competition.
Ultimately Shekhinah did not win, but that did not stop her from taking the SA music scene by storm.
The hit single "Back to the Beach", on which she collaborated with fellow Idols alum Kyle Deutsch, was a festive season favourite with South Africans, who also couldn't get enough of her collaboration with Black Coffee, "Your Eyes".
Shekhinah recently released her debut album, Rose Gold, to rave reviews.
