State of Disaster could return, says minister Dlamini Zuma

Minister of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma announced on Tuesday that the State of Disaster could return if the fifth wave is too severe.
On Tuesday, Minister of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma briefed the media after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the State of Disaster will be lifted.

Depending on the spread of the fifth wave and hospitalisations, Dlamini Zuma has warned they may have to bring back the National State of Disaster to handle the pandemic.

Scientists have predicted that the fifth wave will set in during winter.
