#StraatBraai: Kempton Park gives warm welcome
Last week Friday, The Scenic Drive with Rian had their second #StraatBraai of the year - and it was fun!
Our host for the day, Suzette Smit, decided to invite The Scenic Drive team to Kempton Park for our second #StraatBraai.
Last month, Suzette invited the team for a #StraatBraai. Her main goal behind the braai was to bring people together to enjoy and have a good time. Suzette and her partner, Jacques, welcomed us into their area and home.
Not only did Suzette welcomed the team with open arms, but also the other residents of the area. Since the beginning of the live broadcast, Rian and the team were treated with delicious treats and snacks.
While the show continued, Rian met some very special guests who have been living in Kempton Park for years.
Oom At and Tannie Ansie Pieterse are well known residents of this area. The couple have been married for over 50 years.
Another very special guest and resident of this area is Cayla van Eeden. Cayla is the proud title holder of Miss Teen World 2018. Her platform gave her the opportunity to create more awareness and give more support where needed.
In May, she will hand over her title as Miss Teen World.
