Takeaway Wednesday: A proudly South African Peppermint Crisp Tart

This week's Takeaway Wednesday treat is another firm South Africa favourite: peppermint crisp tart.

Ingredients
750ml cream
1 can and a half of Nestlé caramel treat
2 x 150g peppermint crisp slab chocolates
2 x packets tennis biscuits
Method
Whip the cream until it forms a stiff peak.
Add the caramel treat to the cream; crush one of the chocolate slabs and add it to the mixture.
Mix it thoroughly and set aside.
In your desired dish layer the bottom with tennis biscuits.
Pour the cream mix halfway into your dish and level it out.
Add another layer of tennis biscuits and the rest of the cream mixture.
Add some crushed biscuits on top and the other chocolate slab also crushed.
This peppermint crips tart is best enjoyed with a good cup of coffee.
