Thembinkosi Pantsi: From toilet cleaner to CEO

Thembinkosi Pantsi is the CEO of the 100% black-owned Avari Cars dealership in Pretoria.
Thembinkosi Pantsi, 39, is an Eastern Cape-born businessman, who has worked his way up from being a cleaner to owning his own business, Avari Cars.
Avari Cars is a 100% black-owned premium car dealership located in Menlyn, Pretoria.

Due to financial difficulties, Pantsi dropped out of mechanical engineering qualification in Port Elizabeth and he became a cleaner.
But the journey did not stop there.
Pantsi worked his way up from a toilet cleaner, to a barman, to a waiter - and now he is the owner of a pre-owned car dealership.

It took him five years to get to start his own pre-owned car dealership.
Pantsi joined the Scenic Drive to talk about his journey to becoming a successful businessman.
