The ever so beautiful Vinette Ebrahim was on the #ScenicDrive today.
The beautiful actress plays the character 'charmaine' on Sabc 2's 7de Laan.
Her latest crusade is against violence in the country. She got on May 1 this year,Workers Day, together with other celebrities on a march to the Union Building participated. She is a founding member of artists against crime.
She drew criticism in early January 2015 after commenting on a Facebook post by Afrikaner rights activist Sunette Bridges, in which Bridges condemned the number of white farmers murdered in 2014 by black South Africans.
The actress's comment stressed the fact that South Africans of all races had fallen victim to crime in the previous year, but in it she also made remarks regarding Bridges and Afrikaner people in general. This prompted a significant backlash on social media, with some people making racist remarks towards the actress and others calling for viewers to boycott 7de Laan.
She tried to explain where she was coming from when she made those comment on Facebook.
