Trucks being looted on the N1 - residents stealing big screen TVs
Video footage showed trucks being looted on the N1 at De Doorns in the Western Cape on Thursday.
Police reinforcements were called to De Doorns in the Western Cape on Thursday, as looters ran onto the N1 highway, before stealing big-screen television sets from stationary trucks.
Videos of the theft has since gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the N1 has been closed in both directions before De Doorns. Provincial traffic chief Kenny Africa said the situation is "tense".
In the videos, looters are seen running off with flat-screen television sets and other goods.
