Two jump in to save diabetic cashier

Patrons at a convenience store in Connecticut sprang into action when the cashier collapsed, apparently because his blood sugar levels were too low.

Two restaurant workers who were buying refreshments on the way home found themselves performing impromptu first aid when the cashier at a convenience store collapsed in front of their eyes.

The man had been ringing up one of the customers' purchases when he suddenly had a spasm and fell backward. One of the two customers ran behind the counter to check on the cashier, who informed them that he was diabetic.

The other customer ran to fetch some orange juice and gave it to the cashier to drink

The man was soon back on his feet and is said to be recovering well. The two have been praised for their quick-thinking heroic behaviour.
