Up-and-coming comedians show their mettle on The Scenic Drive
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
Rian rounded up a handful of South Africa's young comedians to answer the question: "who is the funniest of them all?"
So, how easy is it to crack it as a comedian?
It turns out it is not as easy as telling old jokes about three men in a bar or knocking on a door.
Rian set out to test whether a random person off the street could really be funnier than a professional comic.
Before Limpopo's Noko Moswete discovered stand-up comedy, she had dreams of being a comedic actress in the style of Mo'Nique. Now, Noko takes her observational comedy all over South Africa, sharing stories about her everyday life and family anecdotes. Since her start in 2014, Noko has been nominated twice for the Savanna Comics' Choice Awards.
Vafa Naraghi has regaled early audiences with stories of his life as a Persian boy raised in the heart of Mafikeng.

Those who frequent open mic nights will recognise Kraai du Toit. His dry humour covers many subjects including relationships and family antics.
