Vernon Barnard of 'The Voice South Africa' visits The Scenic Drive

24-year-old Vernon Barnard made his unforgettable debut on The Voice South Africa in 2016, and his star has been rising rapidly ever since.
Vernon Barnard's life story is one of hope, determination and triumph. Having been born with glaucoma, Vernon has been blind since the age of five.
A number of surgeries could not restore his sight, but Vernon, with the support of his parents, has gone on to live a full life.
Now 24 years old, Vernon has found his talent for singing and is set to make a stellar career out of his music. After his debut on The Voice South Africa, where his performance of One Direction's "Story of My Life" stole the hearts of the audience and had judge Bobby van Jaarsveld in tears, Vernon has been working on a number of singles, including, "Voel" and has now released his debut album, Deur Jou Oë.
