It is December - which means robberies, smash and grabs, and violence are all on the rise.
A video doing the rounds on social media shows a smash and grab that took place in Durban while it was raining.

In the video, cars can be seen moving slowly in heavy traffic and rainy weather. A man suddenly appears from the bushes and runs up to a gold Nissan car. The man then breaks the window of the car and grabs a black and white bag from the inside.
After grabbing the bag, he runs back into the bushes.
