According to reports, the daily COVID-19 deaths in France are the highest since April.
A video was shared on social media of major traffic jams across Paris.
The movement in and out of the city created a record 706km of traffic on roads in the region by 6 pm, according to France’s traffic department.

Incredible traffic jam in Paris as people try to leave the city before 9 pm curfew and before confinement begins at midnight. Traffic is barely moving in every direction as far as the eye can see. Lots of honking and frustrated drivers. pic.twitter.com/6Zn2HCxuPl
