WATCH: Influencer forces emergency landing after pretending to have the coronavirus

An artist and influencer made a false statement that he had been infected with the coronavirus - forcing a flight to make an emergency landing.

James Potok, an American artist and influencer, stood up on a flight from Toronto to Jamaica and made a false statement to everyone on board.
Potok announced that he had recently been to the Wuhan province in China, and now has been infected with the deadly coronavirus.

Potok was wearing a pink hoodie and a protective face mask while he was escorted out of the plane. Potok said he didn't expect a big reaction on board as he was hoping to make a viral video.
This irresponsible stunt caused an emergency landing.
