WATCH: President Ramaphosa spotted shopping at local centre

Celebrities are often seen out in public - and we often stop them for a chat and obviously some selfies. But have you ever spotted the President while roaming the streets? 

President Cyril Ramaphosa is known for being seen on the streets of South Africa.

Early in 2021, a young girl went viral on social media after she spotted President Ramaphosa on his morning jog and stopped him for a few selfies.

Another moment of the President has made it to social media. President Ramaphosa has been caught in a local shopping centre - and it looks like he was looking for a new television.

In the video, the President is seen talking to a salesperson at the television section of a store. 

Earlier this week, during a live conference, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that his iPad had allegedly been stolen.

"I'm waiting for my iPad. Somebody stole my iPad," President Ramaphosa said. 

"Can I have my iPad, please?" he continued.

The moment dominated social media platforms with South Africans launching a nationwide search for the President's iPad.
