WATCH: Pretoria couple experience smash-and-grab in Western Cape

Christelle Müller experienced a horrifying incident while visiting the Western Cape.

Christelle Müller, who lives in Pretoria, was on her way to the Cape Town International Airport in a hired car when she and her husband were visiting Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

Müller and her husband were about to fly back to Gauteng the Sunday morning - when an unknown man smashed the hire car's window.
The incident happened by the Borcherds Quarry off-ramp.

Waal de Waal, COO of Bidvest Protea Coin, was driving behind the couple and saw the incident happen.
De Waal's dashboard camera caught the incident.
