Billy Cowley, who survived cancer, participated in a Guinness World Record contest - and broke the record!

After being diagnosed and surviving melanoma skin cancer 13 years ago, Cowley made it his life's mission to make his time on Earth more exciting.

On Thursday evening, Cowley broke the Guinness World Record for eating 420g of Marmite in 60 seconds. 

"I'm happy with the 420 grams of Marmite I ate," Cowley wrote on Facebook.
