The government will follow a staggered approach using 5 levels where the hard lockdown is level 5 and the resumption of all activity is level. From the 1st of May - that national lockdown will be lowered from level 5 to level 4.
The Scenic Drive caught up with Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout - who is a proud ‘member’ of the ANC - to hear how she is doing during the national lockdown.
"I am on the farm, with my husband Oom Hasie. I am reading and I am cooking. I am not watching the news.
"I have Netflix - I don't have to travel anymore. We don't have to travel anymore - we must learn to appreciate our own homes and gardens.
"This is also a wonderful time to contact people.
"We are in this together. Focus on today," Tannie Bezuidenhout.
