Will Smith's son reacts to viral slap moment at Oscars

Will Smith's son, Jaden Smith, supported his father after he slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars when Rock made fun of his mother.
Jaden Smith, 23, issued support for his father, Will Smith, after he slapped comedian Chris Rock in defence of his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, during the Oscars.

Rock made a joke about her short hair and after the joke, a visibly upset Smith stormed the stage and slapped Rock in the face.
Smith then repeatedly yelled, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f-ing mouth!”

Pinkett Smith has previously spoken about her struggle with hair loss disorder, alopecia.
Their son, Jaden Smith, supported his father by saying, "And that's how we do it!" on Twitter.

Smith defended the incident by saying, "Love makes you do crazy things", when he won the Oscar for Best Actor in 'King Richard', where he plays the role of tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams' father.
The couple's daughter, Willow Smith, has not publicly commented on the incident but has continued to post to Instagram as normal.
