A couple in Canada attempted to rob a convenience store but made away with bruises and their tails between their legs instead.
Two heads are not always better than one.
When a couple in Spruce Grove, Canada attempted to rob a convenience store, they apparently went in without a solid escape plan. They had the idea to use a stolen credit card to make a purchase, but they had no idea what to do when police were alerted to their crime in progress.

Seeing the police running into the store, the male suspect pushes his girlfriend to the front in a failed attempt to use her as a human shield. The two suspects fall down and police are seen chasing the man and grabbing his shirt.

In the meantime, the woman runs away and finds a way to climb into the ceiling of the store. She believes she has hidden away successfully, but moments later she is seen tumbling out of the ceiling and crashing into a shelf.
She gets up and starts running but, according to Mashable, she and her partner did not get very far before they were arrested.
Unfortunately, this was not one of the times where burrowing into the ceiling like a rodent would have a positive outcome.
