Woman refuses to back down as angry crabs fight back

Virginia Simmons was determined to show the crustaceans who was boss in her kitchen.
If you have ever cooked shellfish, you would know that the trickiest part of preparing the dish is getting the live sea animals into a pot of boiling water.
Do it quickly and you will be well on your way to a fancy crustacean entree. Hesitate, and you could have a hostile takeover on your hands.
Virginia Simmons was keen to get started on her dinner and prepared to cook a big bag of live crabs. In a video posted to Facebook, Virginia can be seen showing the bag of crabs and telling her followers that she plans to flavour them with a bottle of light beer.

It is when Virginia tips the bag, which is already overflowing, upside down into the pot that the trouble starts. The pot is too small to hold all the crabs, and several of them jump out onto the stove and onto the kitchen floor. Hearing the angry snapping of the claws is chilling. It feels as if this is the moment the crabs take over and attack Virginia for even daring to cook them.
Virginia screams "Lord, have mercy!" before springing into action. She gets her tongs and fights to pick up each of the stray crabs and fling them into the pot. She keeps them each at arm's length the entire time, which indicates that she may be practiced in wrangling crabs into a pot of boiling water.
Keeping her cool throughout the confrontation, Virginia admonishes the crabs for fighting her, saying that they should "just embrace death". There is clearly nothing that will stop Virginia from preparing this seafood dish.
She eventually gets the last crab into her pot and, out of breath, comments about how cooking crabs is "exercise". Virginia then pours beer over the crabs, after taking a sip for herself.
After a battle like this, surely Virginia deserves all the shellfish she can eat?
