Zozibini Tunzi: She who reigns supreme!
Former Miss South Africa and former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi features alongside Oscar winner Viola Davis in 'The Woman King'.
The story of Zozibini Tunzi is almost magical and truly so surreal.
She is a South African model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2019. Tunzi had previously been crowned Miss South Africa 2019. She is the third woman from South Africa to win the title, and the first black woman since Angolan Leila Lopes was crowned Miss Universe 2011.

After this huge accolade, Tunzi did not stop there. She has now made her debut as an actress in 'The Woman King', a historical epic inspired by the true events that happened in The Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful states of Africa in the 18th and 19th centuries.
The star features alongside heavyweights such as Pietermaritzburg-born Thuso Mbedu and Viola Davis, who is a seasoned actress of film, television, and theatre. Audiences across the United States and internationally have admired Viola for her work- including her celebrated Oscar-nominated performances.

A thrilled Tunzi took to instagram and wrote: "Two days and a gazillion views later, just from me alone and I’m still OBSESSED!!! Like, what do you even mean?"'
