Monkey steals money from jewelry store in China

A monkey was filmed robbing a jewelry store in China over the weekend, and the internet is going bananas. According to Time, the monkey left with about R2,200.
In the surveillance footage the store released, one of the employees can be seen offering the monkey some fruit, but as soon as it had a bite, the monkey went into thief-mode. It can be seen pushing open the door, making its way to the counter, and leaving with money in its hands.
The workers can be seen trying to stop the monkey, but failed when the monkey outran them.
