There are some weird and not-so-wonderful animal combinations out there. Some have come naturally, and others, well, as a result of human beings and our pursuit of biological genius.
The bufffadile
The only evidence we have of the buffadile we have is in this video which might give you the heebie-jeebies.
The beefalo
The cow and the American buffalo. These breeds were mixed to get the best of both meaty worlds. Beefalo meat is believed to lower in fat and cholesterol.
Wholphin
Extremely rare, this sea hybrid is reported to exist only in the wild, and only one is known to exist for sure.
The zonkey
Arguably the most well-known hybrid, zonkeys can happen naturally when donkey and zebras are kept close to each other, or when humans breed them.
