The world is filled with fake products and it has become a billion dollar industry. We decided to invite two professionals who definitely have the eye for spotting a fake product from the real thing.
Roy Peretz of Pawn Stars South Africa fame is one man that is able to spot the fake in seconds. Having a pawn shop, Roy encounters many knock-off products on a daily basis. When it comes to men, we gave Roy the task of spotting a few fake watches from the real deal. He was given three watches, two were fake and one was real.
Roy shared a few tips on what to look out for when being lured into purchasing a product you are unsure of.
One of the most popular products that is bought are bags. Whether it be Chanel, Gucci or Guess, there are many fakes out there and sometimes they can be really tough to spot. Claire Cobbledick of Gumtree South Africa joined us this morning and pointed out a few things that you should look out for when purchasing a bag.
