COPE's Mosiuoa Lekota pleads for farm attacks to stop

Over the last few weeks farm attacks have taken an all-time high and South Africans are now starting to question what will be done in order to prevent more attacks.
Cope leader Mosiuoa Lekota received a standing ovation from a few members in the gallery when he said the right narrative on farm murders had to come from Parliament. This comes after he addressed parliament regarding the recent rise in farm attacks.
In the clip below Lekota comments and condemned President Jacob Zuma's call for appropriation of land without compensation.
"When we say things that mislead our people into attacking each other, we are the prime source of the problem. Here we have someone who is telling people they are going to take land without compensation, someone who lacks political backbone," he said.
Lekota then went on to slam politicians such as Julius Malema, who has been at the forefront of land appropriation without compensation.
