Fight Breaks Out Between Students at Varsity Cup Rugby Match

Watch below as a fight broke out on the field at the University of the Free State. This comes after a group of protesters took to the field during the rugby match.
The video below shows the clash between the UFS Shimlas and the Madibaz at the University campus.
The footage below shows rugby players and supporters assaulting a group of protesters who had walked on to the field, disrupting the FNB Varsity Cup rugby match. The video surfaced online showing players and supporters violently attacking the group of protesters. It is clear that one can see the confrontation between the white and black students on the field.

An urgent investigation is underway, to identify those who acted with violence. The University of the Free State (South Campus) will therefore be closed for all lectures on 23 and 24 February.
