As another heatwave persists, some more help for farmers and animals in the North West province
ANGEL: Adam Tas on behalf of the Caring Daisies
SPONSORING: The Caring Daisies committed to donating funds from ticket sales for their upcoming "Manna vir die Boere" concert on Wednesday 3 February 2016 to animals in need. That was in support of Good Morning Angels' help to the SPCA's in Stilfontein and Virginia. The Daisies raised R30 000,00 which will now be donated to the Koedoeskop-project in the North West. This Project is aimed at cutting grass, bailing the grass and distributing it to areas where animals are in dire need of feed.
BACKGROUND: The Caring Daisies have been working with several communities devastated by the current drought. They've helped with the distribution of feed for cattle as well as water. They realized that the need is persistent and along with singer/song writer, Adam Tas, organised a concert featuring several top Afrikaans singers to raise more funds and awareness. In support of Good Morning Angel's and #ProjectWaterDrop and assistance to the SPCA's in Stilfontein and Virginia, they have already collected R30 000,00 in ticket sales, to be donated to the Agri SA Koedoeskop Project.
