The latest ad campaign from the Western Cape Department of Public Transport and Works is definitely not your usual road safety advert. The video was launched ahead of the busy Easter holiday period, which sees streams of holiday makers travelling to destinations all across South Africa.
The ad campaign, entitled, 'The First Kiss' shows four Cape Town teenagers who are involved in a horrific car crash.
The graphic video content shows how those who are not buckled up within the car are flung around in the car.
Warning: the video contains graphic content
Do you think by using shock tactics drivers and passengers will be more aware of the possible dangers and buckle up?
