Joburg traffic cop filmed asking for a bribe?
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Dashcam footage has shown a Johannesburg traffic cop pulling over a vehicle and it shows an altercation between the cop and motorist. Could this be proof of a bribe?

The driver that was pulled over was Carte Blanche senior investigative journalist, Tony Beamish. Beamish was driving and admitted to the cop that he had consumed alcohol.
The officer, says Beamish, was believed to have introduced himself as "George". Beamish admits to the officer that he had a "double whiskey at about half-past five" that evening.
Beamish then goes as far as he contacting his attorney and was advised to leave quietly once the officer was willing to "give him a chance".
