Kaapse Klopse 'Calendar Song' for SA
Updated | By Bronwyn Hardick
The 2015 Cape Minstrels Second New Year Street Parade had to be postponed due to various reasons. So The Complimentary Breakfast decided it would be a good time to put together a new, updated version of their traditional “Calendar Song” jam packed with some of our government’s top faux pas that happened throughout 2014.
Be warned. You will listen, laugh and repeat…

LYRICS:
2de Nuwejaar is held the 17th of January this year and after the ANC had their birthday celebrations in Cape Town one or two famous minstrel songs will apparently be changing somewhat….Like the Calender Song that now takes a look back at the ANC’s shenanigans in 2014…
January, February, March…..
January: The government is in a hurry to pay for the e-toll roads and send ridiculous bills, loads and loads!
February: At the State of the nation Zuma vertel we have a Good Story to tell, was he drunk that day? Blerrie hell…
March: With her Nkandla report Thuli finds JZ violated the Ethics Code, to clean him of that…There is no stort…
April: Our beloved Arch Tutu says there is no way he’ll vote ANC again….From everyone in Cape Town: 10 out of 10!
May: After the elections the ANC is surprised to hear….They’re losing support to that jellybaby they secretly fear….
June: Another crisis in the NPA…..The new head was charged with murder back in the day… Relax bra...Only Zuma has a say…
July: Praat van ‘n pos….The new boss at the SABC lied about his matric…Pay your TV license huh? Dit kan djy maar los…
August: The SIU goes after the Nkandla Argitek….Maar die argitek van al hierdie kak hou nogsteeds sy bek.
September: Pansy Tlakula the IEC head, steps down after a leasing scandal…..Swak performance van djou…Is ek reg Randall?
Oktober: According to reports the prez accepted a arms deal bribe from the French…using code words…Really? He looks too dense to speak Frense….
November: The ANC loses control in the highest house…..And now you know Zuma, when the fatcat’s away, the boss is the mouse…
December: Eskom says they have enough power….To keep the Christmas trees lit in our darkest hour….One thing that is now abundantly clear…..Daai Zuma sal iemand nou fokken vinnig moet keer!
