Large lizard gasps while running for shade in Saudi Arabia
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Although we are in Winter now, other parts of the world, such as Saudi Arabia, it is hot! The Saudi Arabian desert has reached incredibly hot temperatures and this lizard ran fast for the small patch of shade.
Even though these desert lizards are designed for incredibly hot environments, it seems the heat is becoming too unbearable.
Tourists were driving in the Saudi Arabian desert when they captured a large lizard desperately running for the small patch of shade made by the vehicle.
This is just proof that climate changes are taking place, and the desert creatures are feeling it. We just hope that these tourists managed to remain there so that the reptile could catch his breath and a well deserved moment of rest.
