Large whale watching boat crashes into San Diego dock
The citizens of San Diego, who were enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean, got more than they bargained for when a large whale watching boat came crashing into the dock.
The large whale watching boat came crashing head on into the dock in San Diego. This comes after the the captain of the boat seemed to have miss calculated his speed when approaching the dock.
Large boats like the one on the video, do not have emergency brakes like a vehicle that one can slam onto when in need. Therefore, knowing this, a captain of a boat of this magnitude is able to know whether or not he is going to crash and to notify his passengers to brace for impact. This is exactly what happened in this case.
Luckily no one was injured, however, these visuals make for one scary, of what should have been peaceful whale watching expedition.
