MalJan Takes a Trip and Explores the Old Victoria Hotel, Pretoria
Updated | By The Complimentary Breakfast
As you know, MalJan is our resident stunt guy, and Rian thought that, this week, it would be a great idea to send MalJan to explore the myths of the Old Victoria Hotel in Pretoria.
Established in the late 1880's, the Old Victoria Hotel in Pretoria is the oldest hotel within the city. One of the myths about the hotel is the stroy of the 'The lady in Grey'. It is believed that the ghost is said to glide past guests who are walking around the hotel during the 10:00pm hour.
It is known that she is most likely to be seen hanging around the hotel centerpiece, the “magnificent staircase”. The reason for this is that the staircase is what took her life back in 1946, when she fell down it, causing her to break her neck.
Maljan went off to the Old Victoria Hotel last night to see if the myth is true.
Have a look at some of the images from his visit to the hotel below:

Take a listen to what happened when MalJan walked down the stairs at the exact time it is said that you would meet 'The Grey Old Lady"
