Veteran actress, Annelise van der Ryst-Hattingh joined us earlier this morning ahead of popular soap, 7de Laan celebrating their 4000th episode. She reflected on her fondest memories, her relationship with fellow actors and her moving cancer story-line.
7de Laan has been one of the longest running soaps on television. With a rich history, a diverse cast and multiple story-lines that have captivated audiences for over 16 years.
Annelise van der Ryst-Hattingh has been a part of the show for 16 years, starring as 'Matrone'. Known as one of the legends of the show and one of the longest-running characters on the show, she joined us to reflect on the soap.
Ahead of their 4000th episode, which will be celebrated on the evening of the 9th of March 2017, we dug deep with 'Matrone' on everything you wanted to know.
