Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Pieter-Rian, diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma celebrated his 16th birthday and Jacaranda FM pulled out all the stops to make his big day incredibly special.
Two days ago we celebrated Pieter-Rian's sweet 16 birthday. After being diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare cancer that affects the bone and soft tissue of the body, we received a heartfelt letter from his mother. Since his condition is terminal and his chemotherapy treatment has been completed, doctors have sent him home to spend his time with his family and friends.
His loved ones sent Good Morning Angels a letter asking to make his 16th birthday a special one. We got to work over the last few week's at making his special day one he would never forget.
Pieter-Rian took to the sky in his own, personal chauffeured helicopter and headed out to Askari Game Lodge. The rest as they say, is history! Take a look at his incredible adventure.
Once again, thank you to everyone who made this incredible day possible!
