Rian van Heerden: A little devil is in charge of South Africa
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Rian van Heerden held nothing back when speaking his mind on Monday.
Rian van Heerden has always been known for his controversial and outspoken persona - and Monday's show was no different.
A statement by Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa over the weekend saw him speak out about President Jacob Zuma's recent cabinet reshuffling. Ramaphosa commented: "If there ever was a time when we have got to act to renew and unite our movement, this 54th conference is going to be that time."
Take a listen.
This morning while making a point on The Complimentary Breakfast, van Heerden shared his thoughts on President Jacob Zuma. Using the notion of the 'devil' and the number 'six', van Heerden spelled out his pattern of thought.
"The devil is loose. Remember the kid in the 'Omen'?! That kid grew up to be Jacob Zuma," commented van Heerden. He also reflected on Zuma's marriages, Nkandla, and the ministers sacked by the President.
