Cellphones and tin foil are ending a couple's 13 year marriage
Updated | By Charis Apelgren

A businessman is filing for divorce from his wife of 13 years because of her ‘irrational behaviour’ which involved her becoming so scared of radiation from cellphone towers that she now covers the windows with tin foil.
The wife claims to have been partially paralysed by the radiation, while her husband says that she is “obsessed” and frequently phones neighbours at 2am telling them to turn off their wifi,
The couple have two children, one of whom was made to sleep with her head in a box covered in tinfoil, as well as in a room covered in tinfoil to ‘deflect beams’.
The two people have been involved in legal proceedings for over two years now. This week the wife has said that she was diagnosed with "electromagnetic hyper-sensitivity" and that her husband is trying to gain his own benefits out of her illness by taking advantage. "It is scary to think that somebody can try to take me down based on my misfortune. It is like I am in a hole and he is standing on my head," she said to Times Live.
Further to this, the wife has allegedly assaulted her husband physically, leaving a black eye and damaged ear, although she denies this.
