South African musical legend Johnny Clegg has just released a new album, simply titled Johnny Clegg: 2016 with a new twist on our old favourites.
South Africa's Johnny Clegg has just released a brand new album consisting of some of his best loved classics with a little twist.
Songs like ‘Great Heart’, ‘Scatterlings of Africa’ and ‘Take My Heart Away’ have been freshly remixed so that they not only pay homage to the original hits, but transform them into fresh, larger-than-life dance-floor anthems at the hands of some of the finest global EDM producers.
This has created a freshness that will not only appeal to die-hard Clegg fans, but see new audiences relating to his songwriting.
Along with the launch of the new album Clegg has released the very first song of the album ‘Take My Heart Away’ which is accompanied with a phenomenal video created by Johnny's filmmaker son Jaron.
