Thank goodness this story has a happy ending.
Zaheer and Asma Ali were in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park when they captured this amazing footage.
A baby Wildebeest had separated from the herd and its mother. The couple spotted it standing next to a vehicle and crying out. Strangely once the vehicle moved the calf followed it.

The couple explained to LatestSightings.com, "At first, we didn’t understand what was happening, but after a few minutes of viewing the wildebeest, checking our surroundings and seeing that there wasn’t a herd in sight, we realised that he was probably lost and the had taken to the car in front of us as its mother."
The couple then drove with the calf for about another 4-5km until they found the herd and the mother quickly responded to the little calf's calls and they were reunited.
