Aunty Pat compares politics to a boxing match
Politics has been labelled many things.
But never did we think we'd see the day when Cape Town mayor Patricia de Lille don boxing gloves and compare what seems to be her political career to a boxing match.
We also don't think it's a coincidence that she did so while standing in front of a newspaper poster which reads: 'Don't let racists speak for you'.
De Lille, fondly known as Aunty Pat, has been in somewhat of a boxing match with the leaders of the DA - many gunning for her head.
Cape Town's DA caucus passed a motion of no confidence in de Lille on Wednesday, paving the way for her removal.
