Ed Sheeran adds African flavour to new album
Updated | By The Late Show
Ed Sheeran's new album includes some serious Afrobeats and we're loving it!
Ed Sheeran's new album '÷' (as in Divide) is the fastest selling by a male artist in history.
It is the third fastest-selling album of all time, coming in after Adele's 25 and Oasis's Be Here Now.
The 'Shape Of You' artist's latest album has already gone double platinum.
But the one track which we're just loving is track 16 'Bibia Be Ye Ye'.
It's a Twi song.
Twi is a member of the Akan-speaking people of Ghana or another term for the Akan language.
The song follows the singer/songwriter's recent trip to Ghana.
He announced in the later part of last year that he would be working on a new track with Fuse ODG, an English recording artist of Ghanaian descent.
The song was produced by Ghanaian music producer Killbeatz.
Do you love the song as much as we do?
