Mathew Gold channels his inner Alicia Keys
Updated | By Carla Mackenzie
Local artist Mathew Gold paid Carla Mackenzie a visit on the Late Show and swooned her and the listeners with his vocals and ball skills.
Mathew is known for his smooth and dreamy lyrics.
The extremely talented muso from Cape Town plays seven instruments.
He landed a SAMA nomination for Record of The Year in 2011.
Have a listen to his rendition of Alicia Keys' 'In Common' and you'll understand why!
The tall, sport-loving musician will be performing the national anthem at the Currie Cup final between the Cheetahs and the Blue Bulls on Saturday 22 October.
Seeing as Mathew and Carla are both football fans and with the English Premier League in full swing, the pair decided to show off their ball skills with a little Music Premier League battle!
Gold's latest single 'Never Mind' is even hotter than his football skills.
